University training module possible?
In the context of capacity building in science and technology related fields would it be possible to organise a training module in a university?
Answer: In the interest of an equal treatment of the Applicants, the ACP Secretariat cannot give a prior opinion on the eligibility of an Applicant, a partner or an Action. It is up to the applicants to read carefully the criteria set out in the documents of the Call for Proposals on the website www.acp-st.eu and decide whether they can submit a proposal that fits within the framework described therein.
Referring to this particular question it should be kept in mind that the Programme is about capacity building. However, applicants should find a balance of the set of activities proposed in order for the proposal to remain within the scope of the Programme and that it is relevant to the objectives and purposes of the Programme.
In this context, such a training component could probably be considered one component of several ones of the activities of a project.
