Because proposals cannot primarily focus on research, what is the type of results expected from the proposals?

Are institutions and organisations from the Republic of South Africa eligible in both lots?
Answer: Yes, organisations and institutions from South Africa can participate in either lot 1 or lot 2, provided they comply with all other eligibility criteria mentioned in the Guidelines for Grant Applicants.
Is there a list of the ‘established ACP science and technology networks’ mentioned in the Guidelines as one of the categories of eligible organisations?

Would an international research center be an eligible organisation?

Since Latin America is geographically so close to the Caribbean is there a possibility that institutions and organisations from Latin America can participate?

Is the ACP Science and Technology Programme in any way linked to the 6th and 7th Framework Contract (FP6 and FP7) also financed by the European Commission?

How does an Applicant know which lot to choose?
